B100 Corridor-Lobby

This project was for the design of new flooring on 4,200 square feet of patient space, corridors, lobby, and hospital staff common areas in the main hospital Building 100. The design incorporated spatial orientation and visual wayfinding into the flooring layout, as well as an LVT flower inlaid outside of the calming room. We provided the VA with site visits, detailed drawings, inspection services, cost analysis, construction period services, and as-built drawings. Throughout the construction period we responded to answer RFI’s, phone calls, and emails, as well as attended site visits to phase completion walk throughs and provided punch lists to the contractors. We designed a phasing plan to allow for the hospital to remain 100% functional during this period. Design project was completed on schedule and no change orders were required. The construction of the project has been completed.
