Tongue Point Job Corps Center
Spill Prevention and Countermeasures Plan
Developed a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan for the Tongue Point Job Corps Center Campus, as well as three of its’ harbored ships: The Ironwood, Iuka, and Columbia. The old Naval Base needed an SPCC for a combined total of nearly 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel, gasoline, oily waste, lubricating oil, waste thinner, and paint. The three ships were analyzed for potential Environmental pollutants as well, and individual plans were written for approximately 30,000 gallons total of Fuel Oil, Lube Oil, and Hydraulic Oil for both the Ironwood and the Iuka, and for over 10,000 gallons of the same aboard the Columbia.
